Oliver Jenkyn, Executive Vice President and Group President & Regional President, North America Visa

Oliver Jenkyn is Visa’s executive vice president and group president & regional president for North America.

As president of North America, Mr. Jenkyn has business, financial, strategic and operational responsibility for the company’s business in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Jenkyn has run Visa’s North America business since 2011.

In his capacity as group president, Mr. Jenkyn is responsible for managing Visa’s largest global financial institution clients as well as Visa’s global deal team that is responsible for negotiating major global partnership agreements. Mr. Jenkyn also oversees multiple global business lines including Visa’s commercial business (Visa Business Solutions) and Visa’s consulting and analytics teams.

Mr. Jenkyn joined Visa in 2009 as global head of Strategy and Corporate Development.

Prior to Visa, Mr. Jenkyn was a partner at McKinsey & Company in the San Francisco, New York, London and Toronto offices, and a leader of the firm's North American retail banking practice and global payments practice. Mr. Jenkyn also led McKinsey’s relationship with Visa for several years, playing an integral role in Visa's IPO.

Mr. Jenkyn holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from McGill University and master's degrees in business and finance from Harvard University and Queen's University. Mr. Jenkyn sits on the board of directors of Tipping Point, a San Francisco nonprofit that works to fight poverty and homelessness.
